A “self-reflection” art installation simulates isolation through technology, highlighting the oxymoron of “spatial computing” within the envelope of the social experience. It is symbolic of strapping on a pair of the latest VR goggles whose digital light projections immerse the user at the expense of togetherness. They are trapped in a box of their own awareness while others mockingly watch them from the outside through the broken fourth wall.
I designed custom PVC connectors and a modular cube structure to achieve a fully flat-pack design.
