Inspired by the partner chair pose in yoga (Utkatasana), Love Seat similarly requires two participants to correctly function. This tongue-in-cheek solution creates intimate moments for conversation and connection while building trust through balance. The chair folds up, utilizing the tension strap for easy transport.
The prototyping process encompassed a series of seat comfort evaluations concurrently with engineering assessments to evaluate and refine the chair’s folding mechanism.
The seat folds into a compact form, facilitating efficient storage and transportation. Upon folding, it can be conveniently carried using the included tension strap.
